Hello everyone,
I learned about EVO cat food about a month ago and was looking forward to switching my two youngster Cornies to it instead of Taste of the Wild. It seemed like a better match for the breed, slight, yes, but nonetheless I was willing to try it.
I buy my food at a small, local, independent pet food shop in Chicago (it's a block away!)called My Best Friend, I asked him if he could start carrying Evo for me. He said, NO! Flabbergasted I asked why...
Proctor and Gamble bought Evo a couple(I dont know exactly when) months ago. They are not required by law to announce any recipe changes for 6 months. The owner of the shop said he refused to buy their product now that they were corporate and could change the whole recipe for 6 months without telling anyone....
Just wanted to pass the information along. I have continued to feed my boys Taste of the Wild, along with a small amount of wet food in the morning as a "treat".
